Following Eutelsat’s 2025 announcement that Hotbird 13° East will be its new primary position for professional video services in Europe and MENA, Eurovision Services will migrate from Eutelsat 7B to Hotbird 13° East in summer 2026.
To ensure a smooth transition, Eurovision Services is offering complimentary test sessions from January 19 to March 20. Broadcast Partners are invited to participate in these coverage tests to evaluate their downlink margins.

Overview
Following Eutelsat’s 2025 announcement confirming Hotbird 13° East as its new primary orbital position for professional video services in Europe and the MENA region, Eurovision Services will migrate its satellite operations from Eutelsat 7B to Hotbird 13° East in summer 2026.
To support Broadcast Partners during this transition and ensure optimal service continuity, Eurovision Services will offer complimentary test sessions from 19 January to 20 March 2026. Partners are invited to take part in these coverage tests to assess and validate their downlink margins.
